In this video, I take you on a complete tour of Serai Bandipur Resort, revealing everything you need to know. This is my honest review about Serai Bandipur. Located 230 kms away from Bengaluru this luxury resort is around 15 years old and spread across 36 acres, although only 18 acres are currently developed. It is 80 kms away from Mysore. This is one of the best jungle resorts in Karnataka and is a perfect place for a nature getaway. The Bandipur forest gates are closed between 8 pm and 6 am, so plan your travel accordingly. • They have various activities in the resort like cycling, table tennis, carrom and few others. They also organise a jungle safari which takes place twice everyday. One in the morning at 5:30am and the other at 2.30pm. The duration of this safari is 2 and a half hours and they have tie up with the forest department. Make sure to inform the resort in advance if you want to go for the safari. They usually have a bonfire everyday at 8pm but unfortunately due to the weather, it wasn't there when I visited. • I have made a separate video for the room tour. The wifi in the room was very slow but it was good at the reception and we barely get any mobile network. • Courtyard Room Tour: • The Serai Bandipur, Karnataka | Room ... • The restaurant ambience was really good with a spectacular view of the surrounding hills. They didn't have a lunch buffet when I visited, so I chose Ala Carte. All the dishes which I ordered were delicious. Since the resort is located amidst the forest, there is a small chance of spotting wild animals. But the resort is secured by guards at all times. • Overall, I had a great experience in Serai Bandipur and didn't really find anything bad about the resort and everything was upto the mark.
