Individuals who enter China through illegal means for economic reasons are not considered refugees. China consistently handles these individuals based on domestic laws, international laws, and humanitarian principles combined. • The country-specific human rights review mechanism is a platform for equal exchange, dialogue, and cooperation among nations and should adhere to principles such as constructive engagement and non-politicization. • • 2. Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidon visited Pakistan recently and touched on various topics during his discussion with Pakistani officials. Do you have further information? • • China and Pakistan are all-weather strategic partners. China appreciates Pakistan's steadfast adherence to the One China principle, supports it in safeguarding national sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, and supports it in maintaining stability, development, and prosperity. China is willing to work together with Pakistan to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of both countries, deepen political mutual trust, expand practical cooperation, upgrade the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, and accelerate the building of a closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era. • • 3. United Nations General Assembly resolution 2758 cannot be distorted; the historic momentum towards China's reunification is unstoppable; and no country should be absent from the international community that adheres to the One China principle. • At present, China's relations with the Pacific Island countries continue to develop in-depth, and the resumption of diplomatic relations between China and Nauru is widely expected by all sectors of Nauru and the Pacific Island countries. It is in the fundamental and long-term interests of both sides. With it, China-Nauru relations have opened a brand new chapter. The two countries have opened the door to friendship, cooperation and common development.
