FOLLOW ME ON TUMBLR FOR *UPDATES: / lijau • pt 1: • Yuri On Ice! Different Languages! pt. 1 • White text: Japanese or other non-English language spoken • Yellow text: English translation • Black text: Random sound which I translated or a parody of the actual dialogue • Dogeza - an element of Japanese manners by kneeling directly on the ground and bowing to prostrate oneself as touching one's head to the floor. • The Thai letters didn’t work so well on my text for the video and I apologize for that. They are more spaced out than they should be. So here’s a quick rundown of what it’s supposed to be: • สวัสดี ครับ – Sawasdee Krab – “Hello” in Thai • ขอบคุณ ครับ – Khob khun krab – “thank you” in Thai • baba is Japanese and Russian for hag. Specifically referring to an older woman or a grandmother. • If any of this is wrong please comment it down below! I mainly speak English so I’m quite limited in my languages.
