Each team has its own sash, also known as a Tasuki, which is worn by the runner and then handed off to the teammate running the next leg of the race. • Mt.Fuji climing Ekiden is a Gotemba’s summer event in every August. • The race is 6 legs with 6 teammates covering 48.19km from Gotemba Athletic Stadium to the top of Mt. Fuji and back. The unique points are the elevation difference of 3,199m and temperature gap of 20 degrees.
