Alright, the first thing we need to do is get inside the vehicle and remove the interior panels to find the port that we need to plug the wire harness in to. Remove the floor panel until we are down to the spare tire. We also need to remove the threshold so we can pull apart this side panel right here. First we will go ahead and remove the tie-down loops that are on the inside here. We will just go ahead and remove them. We have the driver side done. Now let us do the passenger side. OK to remove the plastic rivets it is a little bit different from most. You actually take the center and push it down. And then it pops right out. You can use your fingers or you can use a special tool to help pop them up. But usually apply pressure and they will release on their own. Pop open this panel. There is a little tab you have to pull out. And then you want to use a trim tool to pop the releases here. There is a plastic rivet here that you have to remove as well. It gives you a little bit extra wiggle room. And then you can pop the panel a little bit more until you can see the interior wiring. 1:08 • • Now the reason why you have to pull out the panel so much is that the connection point is actually right in this area here. And our port is a white connector wrapped up with light blue tape. You just need to free it from the tap and we can plug our wire harness right into that. OK, we will plug in our wire harness. And then we will take our ground wire with the loop and attach it to the factory ground that is right here. Our ground is hooked up. Take our adhesive back off of our converter and place it on to the interior side of the sheet metal. We will route our 4-pole wire underneath and to the spare tire compartment. We will just leave that alone for now. We will go ahead reinstall the interior panels. Now you will have to take the plastic rivets from the threshold and kind of peel them apart and reset them. Take these two points and kind of pull them apart. And them push them to the top and it resets the rivet. 2:48 • • Our 4-pole wire will be stored underneath the floor covering until we need it. Now we will go ahead and show you how to use the 4-pole. Basically you pull up the floor cover, pull it out. Make sure you stay away from the center latch. And shut the door on it. The door seal is thick enough and it will not hurt anything when you shut the door. Pull down what you need to go down to your trailer. And we are finished.
