The Basingstoke North Hants Model Railway Society (BNHMRS) held its 2023 exhibition over the weekend of 11th/12th March. A good variety of layouts were on show covering all the main gauges plus some not-so-main! Fictional narrow gauge railway on the South Coast of England in the early 1950s. • 13:59 Elbow Lane - 00 gauge - Dave Smith. Run-down South London branch line terminus with goods yard and fuelling point in the BR Blue diesel era. • 17:05 Wimborne - 00 gauge - Wimborne Railway Society. Wimborne station and goods yards in the period 1950 to 1964. • 22:34 Ramsgate Sands - N gauge - Rob Score. Representation of Ramsgate Harbour station in Kent had it survived into the 1950s. • 25:49 Lynton - 009 gauge - BNHMRS.
