Yakiniku Japanese BBQ Beef Recipe Made Simple

Yakiniku is a marinated BBQ grilled beef recipe. My husband and I were first introduced to this delicious meal on our first visit to San Francisco's Japantown. He heard about it while watching an anime, so when he saw it on the menu, he just had to order it. And now every time we go back, it's what he always orders. I really wanted to recreate this dish for him to enjoy at home. The secret is in the marinade and selecting the thinnest sliced beef you can find. Originally from Korea, Yakiniku (the Japanese version) is believed to be inspired by the BBQ dishes called galbi and bulgogi. This is commonly grilled with vegetables on the side. We'll be using yellow squash, but you can use any vegetables you prefer. All ingredients are very accessible to find in your grocery store in the Asian section. Happy cooking! • This recipe, and more, can also be found on: • https://minadskitchen.wordpress.com/ • You can also find us at: •   / minadeekitchen   •   / minaskitchen   •   / minadeecooks   • Subscribe here: •    / minadeekitchen   • Music: • Day One V1 by Stephen Burns provided by freesoundtrackmusic.com
