I have long wanted to get my hands on a set of the Cretacolor Pastel Pencils, the Pastel medium is such an interesting and diverse medium with amazing potential for artists of all levels. Pastel lends itself to hyperrealistic work, lose flowing landscapes, impressionistic, flawless human portraiture, wild life portraiture, Pet Portraiture etc. • Given the huge selection of pastel blocks, hand made pastels, extra soft to much harder, as well as Pan Pastels and of course Pastel Pencils for much more refined detailed work, all of these allow the artist such a wide scope. • Cretacolor have recently released some absolutely gorgeous sketch sets and also have a tremendous range of other art supply mediums such as colored pencils, watercolor pencils, pastel blocks, graphite and charcoal pencils as well as graphite and pastel powders.
