That's the message we want to spread. You can't tell anyone who to love. • Herbert Grönemeyer (German singer) about August Diehl (German actor): • He has wonderful lips. He's a good kisser. It was pleasant to feel his warm body. It was fun. I liked it. • Julius Brink (German beach volleyball player who won the Olympic gold medal at London 2012): • For me, it was the first time I kissed a man on the lips. It was an interesting experience, but I still prefer my wife. • Jakob Sinn (member of the band Revolverheld ): • I think it's important that people who are in the public eye say in some way or the other that certain views are not acceptable, no matter whether it's right-wing extremism or homophobia. • Doktor Renz (member of the German hip-hop band Fettes Brot ): • As an artist, you often get the feeling that no matter how many smart lyrics you write and no matter how many smart interviews you give, there will always be some idiots who don't get it. But I also believe that society can change. • Kostja Ullmann (German actor): • If it's true that 80 percent support what Putin said, then those people should maybe start to think for themselves and realize what this really means for the victims. • Herbert Grönemeyer: • This is why it's important to take an unequivocal stand on this topic and take part in this campaign. I think sportmen should also speak up against it. It's important for the Russian people to know they are not alone. • August Diehl (German actor): • People in Russia who have this problem will hopefully realize that they are not alone. • Ken Duken (German actor) • I don't understand why the Olympic Games will be held in Russia. • Moses Pelham (German hip-hop musician): • It's totally obvious to me that you have the right to do what you think is right -- as long as you do it with someone who wants the same thing as you. That's freedom, and a lot of people have died for this. • Julius Brink: • This shouldn't be happening in sports or in other areas of life. It totally clear to me that I will always speak up against racism and homophobia. • Johannes Strate (member of the band Revolverheld ): • This is not like tilting against windmills. Constant dripping wears the rock away. And the more people speak about it, the more tolerance will spread. • König Boris (member of hip-hop band Fettes Brot ): • I fear that stupidity and intolerance will never die. And in this sense, it will always be a good idea to speak up against them. • Thomas D: • Everybody is different.
