Malaysia Titanium Seamless Heat Exchanger Tubes

Titan Engineering, Singapore has recently completed supply of custom size seamless titanium heat exchanger tubes to Huntsman Tioxide Malaysia, Terengganu plant. These tubes are for their concentrated liquor evaporator, which has been in service for the past 20 years. Due to aging, some of the tubes were in choked condition and some of the tubes are plugged. During the upcoming plant turn around project, the plugged tubes will be replaced with new titanium tubes. This heat exchanger tube bundle contains 624 titanium tubes of 6 Meter lengths. As the heat exchanger is in operation for more than 20 years, since inception of the plant, the manufacturer is not in business any more and we were invited to submit proposal. Titan Engineering has conducted site visit to learn more about the project technical requirements and has submitted our proposal. Amid heavy competition from multinational companies, Titan has secured this project. The supply delivery time was critical in this project as the plant could not be shut down beyond specified dates the process line need to be in running.
