He is committed to the renewal of Christian leaders and churches in the power of the Holy Spirit, so that the fullness of the Gospel may be both declared and demonstrated for the evangelization and discipling of all people groups. • Born into a Christian family, raised in Baltimore, Maryland, called to the ministry while in high school, he earned a B.A. in Philosophy from McDaniel College (formerly, Western Maryland College), a M.Div. in Biblical Theology and Ph.D. in Historical Theology from Princeton Theological Seminary. For three years, he was a Teaching Fellow in Historical Theology and Theological Ethics at Princeton. He is the author of three books, including Our God Reigns: A Guide to Understanding Revelation . • Ordained in 1948 as a Minister of the Gospel by the United Presbyterian Church, Dr. Morey has served as the senior pastor of three Presbyterian congregations in Philadelphia, PA, Pittsburgh, PA, and Richmond, VA. In 1981, established the first School of Biblical Studies, University of the Nations, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. There are now Biblical Studies Schools in more than 50 countries. • On retiring from the pastorate in 1985, he was for eight years the Director, School of Christian Ministries, Christian Assembly, in Vienna, Virginia. • Dr. Morey and his wife Betty, were married in June, 1948. They have been blessed with two daughters and one son, six granddaughters, nine grandsons, and fourteen great grandchildren. Since 2007, they have resided in Haymarket, Virginia. Dr. Morey continues to minister as the Resident Scholar: Pastor-Teacher in The King's Chapel, Fairfax, Virginia.
