Be Bold Ready to Tell February 14 2021

This morning we will continue in the new sermon series entitled Be Bold. We have a calling to be bold in our homes, our workplaces, and in our world. We have been given the authority, through Jesus Christ, to do so! In Matthew 28:18, Jesus states this charge when he says, all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. This is followed in verse 19 with the command to go therefore and make disciples... We have been given the green light to GO and make disciples! We have an authorative direction, but we have not been left to figure out the 'how' to accomplish this task on our own. Believers in Jesus, we have been given the gift of the Holy Spirit to send us out in His confidence and we have the power of the Word! Hebrews 10:17 tells us of the power of God's Word: it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing... As we dig into these truths today, let us have the confidence to be bold!
