This productivity timer plus the duration framework increased my productivity exponentially. Out of all the productivity hacks I've encountered, this is the one that has helped me the most with my self-managed tasks. There are so many systems that increase productivity my small amounts, but it's refreshing to find one that has such a huge impact and yet, is so simple. • In this video, we take a look at a new way of approaching tasks through what I call the duration framework. In addition, we combine it with an incredibly simple focus technique, which is a productivity timer. If you've ever used the Pomador timer, you know that it can definitely help, but has limitations. But this method, combined with the duration framework is simple, yet incredibly effective. Let me know your thoughts. • Action steps • 1. Identify a task that needs to be completed • 2. Determine how long it should take you if you were reasonably productive • 3. Split the time into manageable focus sessions • 4. Place a timer somewhere visible while working for each focus session • Productivity Timer - https://amzn.to/3WSzniP • New Skillshare class - https://skl.sh/3M9TC6W • Planner - https://www.finishersecrets.com/AUSTIN24 • 👇 Ways you can help support this channel's content 👇 • 1-month free skillshare - https://skl.sh/3psK0sG • Here I answer any question that is asked - asqme.com/@austinschrock • Patreon - patreon.com/austinschrock • 👆Ways you can help support this channel's content 👆 • Website - https://www.austinschrock.com/ • Newsletter - https://tinyurl.com/ydzhnhy5 • Mind Castle Podcast - https://spoti.fi/3ptCzla • My gear: https://kit.co/AustinXrepto • (Scribd) Free Month of Unlimited Audio Books - https://www.scribd.com/g/5p1h4u • Follow me on GoodReads to see what I'm reading - https://bit.ly/3XgOYbE • Thanks for stopping by my channel where we focus our energy on self-improvement, productivity, and making the best possible versions of ourselves.
