We just can’t imagine a Sonic The Hedgehog Movie - without that iconic Ben Schwartz voice. He and the rest of the cast - cemented the success of a Sonic film adaptation series. And now for Sonic 2 - they got the help of some very talented voices. • All the voices behind the CGI characters of the Sonic movie adaptations - had quite the impressive voice acting resumes. We already know the talent and commitment of Ben Shwartz - and of course - the classic voice of Tails Colleen O’Shaughnessey. But the character of Idris Elba’s Knuckles - brought a whole new sinister style to the table. For all the non-CGI cast members - working with co-stars that aren’t actually in the scene - produced a lot of different emotions. James Marsden has had the experience of working on this kind of film - but the rest of his castmates - were really given the opportunity to improvise. There were a lot of tennis balls and 3D models used to help them - but it still felt strange conversing with the objects. Not to mention - Lee Majdoub basically worked with a cartoon with the likes of Jim Carrey. • We’re taking you behind the mic on this one - and giving you an insider look as to how the process worked with CGI characters.
