How to Create Perfect Domed Cupcakes

Cake Craft City are always on the lookout for more ideas so if you have any requests please leave a comment below us me know what you would like to see • EQUIPMENT • Polystyrene Balls 8CM https://amzn.to/2Rgxeej • Cling Film https://amzn.to/2NWW7xu • Knife https://amzn.to/2OHWpo8 • Circle/Fluted Cutters https://amzn.to/2RfVbSY • INSTRUCTIONS • Take a Polystyrene Ball and using the knife, carefully cut the ball in two down the middle. Brush away any loose debris from the cutting. • Then take some Cling Film and cover the top of the ball with the Cling Film, Twist the clingfilm and cut any excess. Do this with all your domes to make them food safe. • You can now roll out fondant to your desired thickness and cut using a circle cutter, always make sure that the size of the cutter is larger than the cupcake your covering. • Place the Cupcake topper onto the polystyrene dome and leave overnight to harden slightly. You can now top the cupcake with buttercream and place the dome on top. • Perfect Domes achieved each time.
