D’Annello Performance are already well known for pushing the boundaries of the legendary Nissan RB engines. Having run mid sevens on radials in an un tubbed VL Commodore, and many other VLs running quick times, Evan’s VL is using a similar setup. Consisting of a forged bottom, the RB30 has a 3.2 Nitto crank, Hypertune inlet, 88/91 Precision turbo., Birrong cylinder head, Wolf v550 on E85. A Powerglide sends all that to the ground to via a 4-link 9 inch rear end and 315 radials. • At its first outing on lower boost, the VL ran an 8.8 at over 160 miles per hour.
