In this tutorial video, coach Scott Viala demonstrates how to do farmer's walks (aka farmer's carries) with proper technique. • The farmer's walk is a great full body exercise. It use to be more of a niche exercise for Strongman training but in recent years it has become popular across all weight training regimens. And for good reason, the farmer's walk targets the quads, hamstrings, glutes, calves, spinal erectors, upper back, traps, lats, abs, biceps, triceps, forearms, and hand/grip muscles. That's a lot of muscles, right!? • It's an exercise that will truly build power and strength in a functional manner. But it's not even just a strength training exercise, it's also an endurance and cardiovascular exercise!
