๐ŸฆŠ In this GCSE Biology video, we describe polydactyly, a genetic condition causing extra fingers or toes, inherited through a dominant allele, resulting in either homozygous dominant or heterozygous genotypes in affected individuals. Through genetic crosses, it's shown that if one parent has two dominant alleles, all offspring will have polydactyly, while if one parent is heterozygous, there's a 50% chance of inheritance, and if both parents are heterozygous, there's a 75% probability of offspring having polydactyly. Understanding such genetic crosses helps predict the likelihood of inheriting genetic disorders like polydactyly. • ๐Ÿ‘‹ Hi, we’re Launchpad Learning.
