Enervent Pandion ECO ECE ventilation unit has automatic outdoor temperature based heat exchanger control logic. • The logic works normally fine and saves a lot of energy throughout the year but it's not optimal for summer months when outdoor temperature is high during the daytime but drops significantly at night. • This video shows how to temporarily disable the heat exchanger to enable summer night cooling with cool outdoor air. • The same method works with Enervent Pingvin, Plaza and Pegasos units equipped with same ECC Electronic Climate Control system. • How the rotating heat exchanger works: • Enervent Heat Exchanger in Action • The threshold temperature for heat exchanger control is adjustable with control board potentiometer between +10...+20°C. +°15C is the default value that is generally optimal for most apartments and conditions.
