This video was taken May 13, 2012 • Hi! My name is Brandi and I'm having two major jaw surgeries in the next year. This video was taken two days before my SARPE surgery and rapid palatal expansion. I have a blog, http://www.happygoplucky.com/, where I'm documenting my surgery process in great detail. • I have lots of friends and family that live far away, so I'm hoping that this makes them feel more connected and in the know about what is happening with me. I also know two teenage girls who will be going through this exact same surgery soon, and I hope that watching my progress will help them. They are both beautiful, brave young women and I know they will do great! • I'm trying to stay positive, but I am nervous and scared.
