Is Saturn's moon, Titan, habitable? Is the life on Titan is similar to life as we know it or is it weird life, or life as we don't know it? The presence of life on Titan is dependent on whether Titan is geologically active. Therefore, we discuss the geological conditions on titan, and evidence for geologic activity on titan from the atmospheric conditions, titan's ocean (both its subsurface water ocean and its surface methane lakes). We then dive into whether there is energy for life on titan, or at least the presence of compounds that have the potential to be used and transformed in ways that produce energy. Lastly, we reveal the key for life on titan, which includes a few possibilities: tectonic activity, cryovolcanism (ice volcanoes), and asteroid impacts.
