There is only one rule when it comes to your grooming scissors that will add years to their life: don't screw with the screw. It can be hard to resist, because good grooming scissors have a slight wobble when fully extended, but don't screw with the screw, and your scissors will thank you. Remaining open blade indicates roughly how much cutting length exists on this scissor. • 4) Look for scissors that cut along enough of the blade length to get the desired job done. • Bad scissors: • may have little to no blade remaining after a drop test • may not drop at all during the drop test • If you screw with the screw: • you ruin blade tension • The screw becomes unlocked, eventually getting looser over time • Delicate screw threads may become stripped over time • The scissor may simply fall apart when in use • The blades may chip and grind, producing a ragged, painful cut. • A gap may be created between blades that will bend and rip. • If you liked Don't screw with the screw , click like below and tell us.
