Recording of the launch of Nested Phoenix , a bottom-up, parametric, spatialised and dynamic computer model with a python backend used to quantify the material stocks and flows of buildings and infrastructure assets, and their energy, greenhouse gas emissions and water use, across the embodied, operational and mobility-related dimensions, throughout their life cycle. • The launch even took place on the 20th of June 2023 at the UCLouvain, Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. It was moderated by Dr. Damien Trigaux (KULeuven/VITO), and featured two keynote speakers, Dr. Verena Göswein (ETH Zurich/FREO Group), and A/Prof Alexander Hollberg (Chalmers University). • Nested Phoenix is led by A/Prof André Stephan and has involved a broad team of researchers throughout the years.
