While this machine doesn't require tamping, the shot turns out way better. Practice the steaming with a thermometer at first, at some point you won't need it. Really the best part of this machine is that at the end, the coffee is really good. Also, anything above 18 months of use I'll be really happy. (I use it a few times a day) • Have more questions?
