Sock Bun tutorial starts with stretched natural hair using the banding method. This black hair tutorial will show you how to get your kinky hair tamed into a pretty donut bun also called a sock bun. • It's best to have your natural hair as stretched as possible. If you have short natural hair the best way to stretch hair without heat is by banding or using curlformers. • This is how I do a sock bun or any other bun style on my natural 4b/4c type hair. I flat twist the front and put in a side donut bun in the back. I used a clean sock for the sock bun tutorial. • I highly suggest you get a sock that is close to your hair color to ensure your natural hairstyle keeps the illusion of having longer natural hair. I really loved the results.
