#photography #mcfarlane #actionfigures • • This video show how fix the slipping problem on the Mcfarlane Bane, its a custom fix on the legs. It by no means makes the legs stronger or more poseable. It only prevents them from slipping. If you need a permanent fix, than you need to glue them at the bottom peg shown in this video. • The donated peg comes from the Target exclusive Batman Beyond figure BAF, the Robot Joker hip joint. • • The donated peg is drilled to a stump to inset into the let and the torso. The hole must be smaller to force the peg into place and avoid using glue. • A divit is drilled in to both ends being drilled to avoid the bit from slipping. • The drilled hole must be cleaned out and the test fit the stump into place. If done properly the ring in the leg will catch the peg above it.. • At this point you can decided if want this to permanently in place by gluing the bottom of the peg into the leg. If you glue the top you will loose the swivel joint. • Repeat for the next leg. The process takes about an hour per leg. • Plan ahead and take your time. • The unsightly gaps are characteristic of this figure, you won't get rid of them unless you glue down.. • If extreme pose is your thing than cut the short into a speedo... then you will have the mobility you seek, but a cost of an unsightly figure...it up to you, its your custom figure. • • • • Sharing techniques to customize current action figures by painting or sculpting what is needed.
