This is a video of an automatic DCC train shuttle circuit from TamValleyDepot.com as heard on http://www.modelrailradio.com/ show #70. It controls a DCC locomotive going back forth. No need to set address, just put the locomotive on the track and dial in the speed. Locomotive DCC address needs to be in the range 1-99. The silver knob controls the speed. The 3 gray knobs are delay times for pausing at the 2 ends and in the midsection (station stop). I apologize for the loud locomotive making it hard to hear me talking! How does it work? There is a microprocessor on the board that continuously loops through DCC addresses 1 through 99 sending speed and direction commands. There are 3 current detectors on the board that detect the train and then a the micro sends a DCC stop command, waits for the delay period and sends new speed and direction commands to reverse the train.
