It started as a store where typical local drinks were sold, but over the years, carnival groups began to gather there to drink, eat, and dance a while before each parade. The Picantería Balderrama on the corner of Corrientes (today, San Martín) and Ituzaingó was created shortly after, where icons of poetry and singers like Eduardo Falú, Juan Carlos Dávalos, and César Perdiguero would meet, among others. • The folk club moved to San Martín and Esteco in 1956, with the official title of refuge for poets, a key point of encounter between poets, artists, and musicians who sang, painted, ate, and drank until the early hours of the morning. The tavern became so bohemian that the owners finally put up a stage with a microphone, after which Manuel J. Castilla composed the poem that bears the same name as the folk club and gave it to Cuchi Leguizamón to turn it into a song. • https://viapais.com.ar/salta/la-pena-... • OFFICIAL SITE • https://www.rodrigosimoes.ca • RODRIGO SIMOES' ALBUMS • https://rodrigosimoes.bandcamp.com • SOCIAL MEDIA •   / rodrigosimoesmusic   •   / rodrigosimoesmusic   •   / rodrigosimoesmusic   •   / rod_sim_music   • GUITAR COURSE • https://www.soundslice.com/store/boss... • ARRANGEMENTS AND TRANSCRIPTIONS • https://www.airgigs.com/user/RodrigoS... • STREAMING • https://open.spotify.com/album/5GwtZV... • https://itunes.apple.com/ca/artist/ro... • MORE BRAZILIAN MUSIC CONTENT •    / mybrazilianguitar
