People have insecurities about the way that they feel. People have insecurities about the way that they perform, about the way that they interact and the list goes on and on. When it comes to insecurities, what I have found is that the key to overcoming it is to stop the comparison with another person. You know everybody is on their own unique individual path. Sometimes it seems like people are ahead of us, sometimes it seems like they are behind us. But none the less they are still on their path. And the greatest track of an insecure person is that comparison with somebody else. So the best way to overcome insecurity is to bring the focus back to yourself. You know instead of comparing yourself to somebody else think about what you want for yourself. And, and beyond that the, the crazy thing about insecurities is that they only affect us. So many people are so involved in their own lives, in their own stories, in their own responsibilities, that they are not thinking about you as much as you think are thinking about you. So you may be looking in the mirror and saying, “Oh my gosh!” I can’t believe that, this is how I look in this outfit.” Everybody else is not going to know the struggle that you went through picking out that outfit unless you chose to share it with them. So, instead of exposing your insecurities just really focus on the things you can do to make yourself feel good in your own skin, and, and enjoy your own company in the company of others. Beyond that chose to share your insecurities with people that you trust and people who genuinely have your best intentions in their minds and their heart. You know let it be a place where you can safely confide. And also, again, that level of accountability they will be able to support you as you move forward.
