The level crossing is at a staggered crossroads where four different country lanes meet, making the name quite accurate. This level crossing has a total of six LED wigwags / road traffic lights, as many as four alarms, and was where one of the first non-prototype level crossing obstacle detection systems in the country was installed in the early 2010s. These are rather clever in that they're lowered normally automatically when a train is detected by track circuits a few signal blocks away, in enough time to keep the train seeing a green aspect where possible, though the supervising signaller does have the facilities to operate it fully manually if needs be. • Train details sourced from: • Real Time Trains: https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/sear... • Open Train Times: https://www.opentraintimes.com/maps • Traksy: https://traksy.uk/live • Thanks for watching!
