The place also has foot marks of the monkey god Hanuman and was a great experience for us to visit this place which we have only read in books as young kids. The history of this place goes back 5,000 years and one must take time to visit this place if you are in Nuwara Eliya. There is temple staff who explains the history and relevance of the location for those who are not aware it.
