*PURCHASE YOUR PAINTS AT* • http://turtlefeathers.net • Water Proofer • http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kiwi-All-Prot... • Supplies • -Angelus Leather Paint (visit http://www.turtlefeathers.net) • -Nail Files and/or Nail Polish Remover • -Q-Tips • -Rags • -Water Proofer(Any Brand; I used KIWI) • *NOTE* • All of these supplies are available at your local Dollar Store. With this tutorial I had • hopes to provide a great tutorial to all viewers and show them an easy and affordable • way. • Step 1 • Remove all paint of a selected color from the midsole using a nail file. use the file as a tool to scrape off all paint of a selected color and get in between crevices of the midsole. • Step 2 • Use the paint brush and the Angelus Leather paint to create nice, even strokes. Wait at least five minutes before applying a new layer. I would suggest that you at about 5-7 layers of paint simultaneously. • Step 3 • Remove all excess paint, perfect paint lines, and touchup areas in need of paint. You want, to have the best paintjob possible so you would want to make sure that you check fro any areas lacking in paint or crooked lines. Use the paint brush and paint to fill these in. To remove the paint from the outsole and create a nice even line, use nail polish remover and a q-tip. • Step 4 • Using any brand of water proofer, water proof the paint you have just applied about 5+ days later so that the paint had had adequate enough time to dry and can hold the fluid.
