WEATHER FORECAST - GOOD FOR 24HRS • SYNOPSIS: WARM EASTERLIES AFFECTING THE COUNTRY • DISCUSSION (BASED ON LATEST WIND AND IR IMAGERY): • A low pressure area observed yesterday has completely dissipated while crossing the Sulu sea. Easterlies are the dominant weather system affecting the country due to the continuous effect of the North Pacific High which remains anchored in the northern part of the Marianas island. It is expected that the said High pressure area will weaken slightly due to the effect of a low pressure trough over eastern China transversing towards Japan.
