Absolutely. • One big difference between the Airbrake and previous Oakley goggles is the lens. A Plutonite lens in the Airbrake is the same material as used in Oakley sunglasses. Old goggles use Lexan lenses which are a much flimsier plastic material. Also, the entire Airbrake system is replaceable, including the lens, strap, outrigger, frame, foam and switchlock gear. This is the only goggle that could possibly last you a lifetime. • NOTE: Neither goggle/lens was fully supported by the sandbag the way it would be against a rider's face. Also, the Lexan lens was already drilled around the edges for extra airflow (a handy EnduroCross trick). We understand this project isn't totally scientific.
