Location: 16th, Brunnengasse to Yppenplatz • With around 170 market stalls and 948 meters, the Brunnenmarkt is the longest permanent street retail market in Europe. It is the cheapest market in Vienna and is also called Orient around the corner because of its colorful and multicultural ambience. The wide range extends from cafes, bars and Middle Eastern cuisine to regional foods, souvenirs and designer products. • Market stall with fruit and vegetables • story • A small market on Thaliastraße that already existed around 1830 expanded over time towards Brunnengasse.
