Here in Part II we have a look at variations for white to play in the London system if black employs what might be called on of the mainlines vs the London system and that is playing an early ...e6 with the setup c5/d5/Nc6/Nf6 and then playing ...Bd6. • This video: • 1.d4 d5 2.Bf4 Nf6 3.e3 c5 4.c3 Nc6 5.Nd2 e6 6.Ngf3 Bd6 7.Bg3 • A: Mainline 7...0-0 • B: 7...Qc7 • C: 7...Bxg3 • D: 7...cxd4 • E: 7...Qe7 • F: 7...b6 • A1: 7...0-0 8.Bd3 • A2: 7...0-0 8.Bb5 • A11: 8...Qc7 • A12: 8. Re8 • A13: 8...Qe7 • A14: 8...b6 • A21: 8...a6 • A22: 8...Bxg3 • A23: 8...Ne7 • A24: 8...Be7 • White then has a choice between Bd3 and the more modern approach with Bb5 as favoured by Magnus Carlsen. • The London System is a flexible and solid opening and there are many chances for cool traps and devastating attacks if black is not careful. • The London has at some time been employed by almost all the top players in the world. Magnus Carlsen has used it several times and especially in shorter time control games with good results. • The London System is a very good opening for online chess, blitz and faster timecontrols. I myself had my best result in the Icelandic Blitz Championship usiing the London System exclusively in my white games and managed to get 2nd place which is my best ever blitz result. • *** • Facebook►   / zibbitvideos   • Twitter►   / zibbitvideos   • • PayPal donations► https://www.paypal.me/Zibbit • #LondonSystem #ChessOpenings
