Sequel: • 6 MORE Warrior cat MAP ideas! • OHH YEAH OH BOY IT'S TIME!!! A VIDEO OVER A MINUTE!!! ARE YOU ALL IMPRESSED? :) • But seriously. I've seen these videos going around for a while so i thought I'd go ahead and throw my hat into the ring with some of my map ideas! I still have a TON more, so if you all are interested in more videos like this, let me know! • Nonetheless, you came to the description to see info about these maps! So here's the info, in chronological order! :) • - • Two Birds: • A pretty straightforward map about Ashfur and Squirrelflight! I've had this one in mind for quite a while actually, so it was fun to finally get those bird-inspired designs down and whip up a thumbnail! Squirrel is a cardinal and Ashfur is a black-throated gray warbler. • The general script for it would be an alternation of the past, present, and what could've been. Using the lyrics to the advantage of Ash's general arc, the map would showcase how while Squilf chose to move on and try and be friends with Ashfur, he shoved her away and refused to be kind to her if she didn't love him the way he did. It would also show glimpses of Ash's idea universe, where Squirrelflight still loves him and all is well. When drawing/creating concepts for this one, I added in that last detail due to Razmerry's awesome Daisy Bell map, so check that out below this blurb! (I also found a pmv with Squirrel and Bramble using the same song, which I linked in case you wanna see something similat right NOW!) • • Daisy Bell // COMPLETE ASHFUR MAP • • (OLD) Two birds | Squirrelflight Br... • - • Preachin' Blues: • EVIL MOTHWING TIME...... Not much about this AU for me personally is fleshed out, and the only thing I can come up with a super specific concept is her death! She'd die, super epically, by being mauled to death by badgers. This happens after she kills Midnight, so that leafpool and Crowfeather can't get her sign and return to Thunderclan and Windclan. Not much else to say about this one, though. Next map!! • - • La Voiture: • uhh..... To those of you who do not know French, this song is essentially a 1940s'-esque version of Before He Cheats. It has a lot of nice narrative segments and in general seems like a great song for a sort of soft, bouncy map! I've thought more about the art direction than anything for this one, seeing as it's just Maple's story, and has been done a thousand times. • - • Ticking Bomb: • I actually added this mostly because I didn't want to repeat characters for this map ideas video. (I Have so, so many map ideas for The Three and the whole Prophecies Begin drama, which hurt me here.) So, as I was jamming out to my spotify playlist, this song came on and I just went oh HELL YEAH BLACKSTAR TIME!!! I don't have much of a concept for this one yet, but I can't wait until I do! • - • Black Swamp Village: • THIS ONE MAKES ME SO, SO HAPPY.... The song, the pallete, the general vibe... It's all right up my alley and I love it SO MUCH. Generally what i want to do is have a cold, spooky, and fearsome colour pallete for the beginning, fade to black, and then BAM! Bright blues and yellows, all around! The upbeat part of the map begins, and chaos ensues! So far I haven't got much of a plot for this one, and I'm considering having it be something similar to JuneTheLoon's When You're Good To Mama map or AlexHarrier's Breezepelt's song. just.... yeah. Jaunty lil jazzy tune map :) • - • Tell Mama: • The only one. Out of all of these. That I've scripted. sobs can be heard in the distance • I don't think I'll go into too much detail for this one considering I can just link the script, but boy oh boy!! Ever since I even GLANCED at the Devil's Backbone map call, My mind just went full on Oh yeah The Civil Wars are Leafpool and Crowfeather's HC voices now. Have fun listening to all their songs now :) So yeah. the map would have.,... a similat vibe to that one, only if would focus on Leafpool's relationship with her children- not her relationship with Crowfeather.
