TETRACHORDS: • A Tetrachord is a four-note Scale, separated by three intervals. The Major Scale and its Modes are formed using two Tetrachords. These are useful tools for moving around the Fretboard in different configuration and framing Solo ideas. Any Diatonic Scale/Mode can be cut in two to reveal its Tetrachords. • The Mixolydian Mode is formulated using two different types of Tetrachord.
