The Burt Bacharach/Hal David pop tune was originally recorded by Dusty Springfield as part of the original sound track of 1967 James Bond film Casino Royal. It received an Oscar Best Song nomination and was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2008. Probably the best known version was recorded by Sergio Mendez and Brazil '66 reaching #4 on the pop charts.
