KONG On The Go Harness, also called the KONG Comfort Dog Harness and Traffic Loop demonstration by http://www.houndabout.com. • The KONG On The Go Harness is a fully adjustable and easy to use dog harness. Made with durable nylon straps and strong plastic buckles, it easily and securely goes around both the neck and body of your dog for a safe and convenient restraint. • If your dog pulls, the harness keeps the pressure away from the neck so they don’t choke. The leash attaches at the back of the harness with a metal D-ring. A padded chest strap prevents the straps from digging in and hurting your dog. • The neoprene padded traffic handle loop on the back provides a strong and convenient place to grab your dog and pull them in close without bothering with the flexibility and mobility of a leash. • Putting the KONG harness on and off your dog is quick and easy. • 1. Place your hand through the neck hole and reach toward the back of the harness. The neck hole will now be around your wrist/forearm and your hand will be under the traffic handle. • 2. Stand in front of your dog and use the same hand that is reaching into the harness to grab your dog’s snout (just place your hand under their chin if they are good and already hold still). • 3. Now pull the harness off your arm and slip the neck hole over your dog and around their neck with the traffic handle over their back. • 4. The chest strap should now be in front of your dog. • 5. Reach under your dog behind their front legs and pull the body straps up around your dog toward the buckles. • 6. The straps should be behind their front legs, kind of like they are going under their armpits. • 7. Connect the two buckles and adjust for a secure but not too tight fit. • Taking off the KONG Harness is even easier. Simply release the two buckles and pull the harness over their head. At this point the only part still around your dog is the neck hole, so it’s kind of like taking off a sweater. We usually just let it fall to the floor and have our dog walk away.
