Idealistics performing cover of Manic Street Preachers, Condemned to Rock 'n' Roll live at Jacaranda Club in Liverpool on 16th of November 2019 during A Northern Underground all dayer organized by North Central Music and The Live Circuit. They shared the stage with Refuge Island, Verticals, Manalishi, Brain Ape, Mr Ted, Dutch Mustard, Elevent and Rival Bones. • Idealistics are indie rock three-piece from Cambridgeshire. The band consists of Alexandra Hirsz (vocals, bass), Dominique Hirsz (drums) and George Gillott (vocals, guitar). Influenced by Manic Street Preachers, Suede, The Killers and Wolf Alice, the band has been performing since their mid teens, playing regular gigs at their “home venue” - The Portland Arms in Cambridge. In 2018 they released their first EP “Grades in Ignorance” and played a fundraiser for Love Music Hate Racism. In December 2018, Ali Hirsz shared the stage with James Dean Bradfield singing “Little Baby Nothing” at a sold out gig in Newbridge, Wales. In February 2019, the band released a charity single “Here Come The Zebras” in support of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. They are currently working on new material to be released in the coming months. • Idealistics have received backing from BBC6 Music (Steve Lamacq), Radio X (John Kennedy) and many other radio stations.
