Experiment #26: Chopped Onions • (UPDATE 3/28/16): READ THIS FIRST BEFORE COMMENTING! I am not a cooking channel. I am a science channel. I was trying to get chopped onions to spark because of another video I had seen. The fact that this video is listed under Science Technology should have been your first clue. You will not find any meal prep tips here, so if that's what you are looking for, click away and continue looking. Any further complaints and whinging will henceforth be removed. It gets old reading comments from people who couldn't be bothered to do five seconds of research. • **ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION** • (Rated G) A (mostly) purist episode where I try to get chopped onions to spark in a microwave because science, this one is my shortest episode by far of Microwave Me and unless I do a 30 seconds experiment as a purist episode sometime, that isn't going to change. However, this episode was a bit of a fail, when I saw videos of this on YouTube, it sparked and I thought oh cool! I'm adding this to my experiment list . But they just sat and did NOTHING! At least it's only a minute long (not even). However, the onions tasted great after being microwaved, so it wasn't a total loss. Microwave Me is filmed with a bottom of the line, state of the fart digital camcorder. The show stars host and producer Matthew Villani as Captain Microwave and a 1978 GE Dual Wave microwave named Jennie, temporarily brought out of retirement. • This is where I originally got the idea for this experiment. •    • Chopped Onions In The Microwave
