Dangerous Chinese Export Only Mains Adaptor

A dangerous and non-compliant mains adaptor plug supplied with an electrical item which had a Chinese type mains plug fitted to it. • The problems are all due to the adaptor supplied - there is nothing wrong with the moulded on Chinese plug, other than it being unsuitable for use in the UK. • The proper thing to do is to supply the UK plug already fitted, or with a fitted semi-permanent fused adaptor such as the comparison example shown in the video.
