Welcome to Bonita's Kitchen! • Today we will be making Apple Crumbles with Caramel Sauce, made with Honey Crisp apples, • See recipe below! • Link to MINI CAST IRON PANS - https://kit.co/bonitaskitchen/kitchen... • APPLE CRUMBLES with CARAMEL SAUCE • Ingredients: • 4 Apples of choice • 1 cup oats • 1 cup brown sugar • 1/2 cup flour • 1/2 cup butter • 1 tsp cinnamon • 1 tsp ground cloves • 1/2 tsp ginger • 1/2 tsp salt • Method: • Clean apples and cut tops off apples and scoop out core, then keep tops and toss the cores. • In a bowl mix all the other ingredients and pinch together by hand or in your mixer. • You will need a baking pan, put apples in them holes up. • Fill all the apples with the crumble mixture, then pre-heat oven to 350º and set timer for 30 minutes. • When cooked remove from heat and place in plates, then top with a delicious caramel sauce and a side of ice cream of choice. • • Caramel Sauce: • 2 tbsp butter 1 cup dark brown sugar • 1/4 cup evaporate milk or milk of choice. 1 tbsp vanilla • Method: • In a saucepan, melt butter; add sugar vanilla whisking to blend well. • Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
