Welcome to the family 💯 • • PRESSURE WASHER OPTIONS • • 5.5 GPM 2500 PSI: (recommended option) • a. http://www.watercannon.com/p-6001-hon... • b. This unit is belt driven and can handle some abuse. You can have a return line set up so that when you are not laying on the trigger, the water will return to the buffer tank. Also the unloader and down stream injector are not build into the pump, so if one of them goes, you can just get a new part to replace instead of getting a whole new pump. • • 4.0 GPM 4400 PSI: (unit I started my company with) • a. https://www.pressurewashersdirect.com... • b. This unit made me a lot of money. If money is tight, go ahead and get this one! You’ll will need to purchase an Adams downstream injector from Pressure Tek. • (https://pressuretek.com/adams-injector/) • if you want to down stream with this unit. The injector it comes with is garbage. If you are running over 100ft of hose, you will need to select the 2-3gpm Adams injector. It has to do with the back pressure caused by the length of hose. Just trust me on this one. Also keep in mind this unit is not capable of a having a return line. This means when you lay off the trigger, the pressure is building inside the pump. Never lay off the trigger for more than 10 seconds without shutting the machine off, you can cause damage to the pump. (don’t worry, it just makes you wash faster! 😊) A huge plus to this unit is that there is a 2 year warranty on the pump. I blew my pump up at the end of the year my first year in business, and they replaced my pump brand new free of charge. • FOOD FOR THOUGHT: If you go with the cheaper option, you can always upgrade your pump. You have the option to add a GEAR DRIVE pump to your already existing Honda engine! If you wanted to add a belt driven pump, you would need to purchase the belt assembly and base also. GEAR DRIVE and BELT DRIVE pumps are identical in performance. Some favor gear drive, some favor belt, but I hear a lot of guys talking very high of the gear drive pumps because of less maintenance. If you wanted to upgrade your pump down the road, you could add a GEAR DRIVE 5.5 3500 PSI pump (that extra 1000 psi will help with surface cleaning big time!) for $799. Comes with unloader and plumping you would just need to get a down stream injector ($25-30). Russ Johnson at southside equipment could hook you up with that. • Here is a link to the pump: • https://www.e-digitaleditions.com/i/7... • Scroll over to Page 9. The pump you would want is SLPHP5535UR-401 • GUYS!
