I didn’t make the backdrop as smooth as possible, so I can show later in the tutorial how to fix errors. • It’s a good idea in general to lock the exposure, focus and white balance. In the iOS Camera app you can achieve this by long pressing a specific point for a couple of seconds. • One done filming, import the video clip you shot into iMovie, and the background. First drag the background clip into the project timeline. Adjust it to the length of the green screen clip. Then select the green screen clip itself from the event library and drag it so its positioned on top of the background clip. Click on the green screen clip and click on the first icon in this row here. Click on the dropdown here where it says Cutaway and select the Blue/Green Screen option. • Now the green from the clip should disappear. Not everything is removed though, there are still some shadows that are left. There is also this area towards the bottom where the green screen didn’t cover. To remove these extra shadows select the eraser tool and click where the shadows are. For the bottom area here select the clipping tool, which is the button next to the eraser. Drag the corners so the background behind the green screen isn’t visible anymore. Once finished, press the check button here and the edits you made are saved. • Background music: Garlagan - Impulse • http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/liste... • (used with permission) • Visit http://www.imoviehowto.com for more content
