Check my simple recipe for mince beef and cheese wraps:    • How to make mince beef and cheese wraps   • Ham and Cheese Tortilla Wraps Recipe • Ingredients: • 2 plain tortilla wraps • 150g Comté cheese (or mozzarella, grated) • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise (store-bought or homemade) • 1 teaspoon wholegrain mustard • 8 slices of ham • 2 tomato, thinly sliced (optional) • Instructions: • Prepare the Mayo-Mustard Mix: • In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise with 1 teaspoon of wholegrain mustard. Set aside the remaining tablespoon of mayo for later. • Assemble the Wraps: • Lay the tortillas flat and spread a thin, even layer of the mayo-mustard mix on one side of each wrap. • On half of the wrap, sprinkle a generous amount of grated cheese. • Add slices of tomato (if using) over the cheese. • Place 4 slices of ham on top, followed by a bit more grated cheese. • Fold the tortilla in half, covering the filling. • Toast the Wraps: • Preheat a non-stick pan over medium heat. • Lightly spread the remaining tablespoon of mayonnaise on the outside of each folded wrap (this will give a golden, crispy finish). • Place the wraps in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until the tortilla is golden brown and the cheese has melted. • Serve: • Remove from the pan, slice in half, and serve immediately. • Enjoy your delicious, quick ham and cheese tortilla wraps! • Homemade Mayonnaise Recipe • Ingredients: • 1 egg yolk • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard • 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar or lemon juice • 150ml neutral flavour oil • Salt and pepper, to taste • Instructions: • Prepare the Ingredients: • In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg yolk, Dijon mustard, and vinegar or lemon juice until smooth. • Slowly Add the Oil: • While whisking continuously, very slowly drizzle in the oil. Start with just a few drops at a time until the mixture begins to thicken. • As the mayonnaise thickens, you can gradually add the oil in a thin, steady stream. • Whisk Until Thick: • Keep whisking and adding oil until you’ve used all of it, and the mixture becomes thick and creamy. • Season: • Once the mayonnaise is ready, season with salt and pepper to taste. If you prefer a tangier flavour, you can add a little more vinegar or lemon juice. • Store: • Transfer the mayonnaise to an airtight container and refrigerate.
