Because GTA IV uses GFWL (Games for Windows Live ) service, it doesn't work if you do not put xliveless patch into game folder. • You can get Xliveless patch from here: • http://public.sannybuilder.com/GTA4/x... • UPDATE * Microsoft announced that it will shut down Games for Windows Live. I guess, in order to run GTA IV under Linux, you may not need Xliveless patch anymore (I'm not sure ).
