Girlfriend's chromatic scale by @ / Jaymii5898 on Twitter!: • https://twitter.com/Jaymii5898/status... • • Boyfriend's chromatic scale by Spongycake! : • https://gamebanana.com/tools/download... • • This was posted last minute, so any errors from editing / mixing will have to stay, as much as I want to change some things already :P • - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - • ONE MORE YEAR OF ME. • yay :D • This is so far my most ambitious song! reaching a whopping 5 minute length, longer than most of my videos! • I'd say this piece is quite literally my dream song, it's the type of stuff I've ALWAYS wanted to make! I put way more effort into this than usual, my back hurts, a lot :D • Hell, I even tried to learn how to properly mix and master JUST for this! • It probably sounds real messy, god awful even, but I can't do anything about it now can I? :D • • I did have to rush it sadly, I wasn't quick enough, I literally finished the visuals just a few minutes ago 💀 • Apologies in advance for weird mixing/leveling or anything like that! turns out that trying to mix AND master in 4 days only is not a good idea :( • • BUT ANYWAYS • H.E.R. , the grand finale for this lil project of mine, where both opponents from the previous songs join in to sing once more! with Girlfriend being the main singer this time around to switch things up :D • I tried giving each group a different approach, gf and bf using longer notes + glides, and the other pair having shorter, quicker notes, it was to try and differentiate them at least a little, and I think the contrast really shows with that first drop!!! • • I'm extremely proud of my melodies, structuring and overall composing for this, I went HARD. • The mixing though... i really struggled and it probably shows :P • once again SORRYY if it's too bad!! I really wish I had more time to mix it... • I'll probably have to remaster it at some point, which is a shame but... I really can't do anything about it now so! it is what it is :D • I do plan on remaking the other songs anyways so... look forward to that! :D • • Now I can finally rest... my back... my ears... my mind... all tired... • I slept 4 hours these past two days ON PURPOSE just to finish this... getting up at night like a gremlin and immediately using the PC...... • ...god, if y'all have any deadlines, please don't wait until last minute!!!!! GET TO WORK!!! • • Enjoy! :D
