http://www.buyerprinting.com/ What resolution should images be for printing? Images should be 300 PPI, versus 72 PPI. In the past we used DPI or Dots Per Inch but instead of actual dots we use pixels. This is the number of pixels per inch in your image and affects the print quality. If there are too few pixels per inch, then the pixels will be large and very pixilated (jagged edges, which makes for rough edged, sometimes blurry images).
